Introduction of 1235 Aluminum Foil For Flexible Package
This product is 1235 alloy aluminum foil for flexible packaging (1235 Aluminum Foil for Flexible Package), a double-zero foil manufactured from high-purity aluminum (aluminum content ≥99.35%) through multiple stages of cold rolling, annealing, and finishing. Widely used in the flexible packaging sector for food, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products, it serves as a core functional material for high-end flexible packaging.

Key Features of 1235 Aluminum Foil For Flexible Package
High-Purity Material: With an aluminum content of at least 99.35% and extremely low impurity levels, this material offers excellent chemical stability and oxidation resistance. The 1235 alloy belongs to the industrial-grade pure aluminum series, featuring good ductility and high toughness, making it particularly well-suited for lightweight and flexible packaging applications.
Superior Barrier Properties: Provides near-perfect barrier protection against oxygen, water vapor, light, and odors. When laminated using proper processes, a 9-micrometer 1235 aluminum foil laminate can achieve an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of less than 0.1 cc/m²·day and a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of less than 0.01 g/m²·day, effectively extending product shelf life.
Light Blocking and Aroma Retention: The glossy side has a reflectance of 88–92%, providing excellent shielding against ultraviolet and visible light, while firmly locking in the aromas of products such as coffee, tea, and spices to prevent loss through volatilization.
Good Laminating Performance: The O-state (soft state) offers good flexibility and elongation, facilitating lamination with materials such as plastics and paper. After surface degreasing and corona treatment, the surface wetting tension reaches ≥36–38 dynes, ensuring uniform adhesion with adhesives. Residual oil content can be controlled at ≤3.0 mg/m², preventing delamination issues after lamination.
Safe and Environmentally Friendly: Complies with food safety certifications such as FDA, SGS, and RoHS; non-toxic and odorless, suitable for direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals. 100% recyclable, meeting environmental and sustainability requirements.
Main Applications of 1235 Aluminum Foil For Flexible Package
Flexible food packaging: Food packaging requiring high barrier properties, such as for candy, chocolate, chewing gum, snacks, coffee, tea, milk powder and dairy products, powdered foods, beverages, and more.
Pharmaceutical packaging: Aluminum foil for PTP blister packaging of tablets, capsules, and other products, as well as pharmaceutical-grade laminated films. Typical thickness ranges from 0.020 to 0.030 mm, and the die-cut edges must be clean and free of aluminum shavings.
Personal Care Product Packaging: Tubes and pouches for toothpaste, cosmetics, face masks, and other products.
Other Flexible Packaging: Cigarette inner lining paper, aseptic packaging for Tetra Pak cartons, yogurt lid films, etc.
Typical Aluminum Foil Thickness Application Guidelines
Candy/chocolate liners: 9–12 μm
Food flexible packaging composites: 6–15 μm
Pharmaceutical blister packaging: 20–30 μm
HHF Household Foil for kitchen: 8-15μm
